Starting is the act of opening the correct bags, adding the correct entrees, and sides (minus fries), and desserts to each order, and then passing the order to the Fries Team Member. Starting is often considered one of the most difficult positions in the store and is one of the biggest opportunities for order accuracy. Starters are also responsible for straws, coupons, sides of pickles when applicable, and stickering bags.
The fries position is responsible for two main things: Napkins and Fries. This team member receives bags from the Starters, reads their KPS monitor which has orange highlighted Fries, puts the appropriate number and sizes in each order, and then passes the bags to the saucer.
The Saucer, frenquently named "Stuffer" at Chick-fil-A locations, is responsible for adding all condiments to an order. This includes sauces, utensils, salad toppings, receipts when applicable, and other miscellaneous product in our saucing area.
