Food delivery is the role of getting the right meal to the right guest in a timely manner. It sounds simple, but it can be one of the most complicated roles in the restaurant due to the fast pace and the necessary problem solving skills to enact the role to its full capacity.
The goal is for each guest to be able to leave the lot in mere seconds, and this often becomes the final chokepoint for that to take place.
The food deliverers, broken into the roles of Door and Runner, are the last step in the output of meals. They need to identify guests by car colors, types, and makes, and then verify with names. They need to hand food off efficiently, and then help the traffic flow smoothly out of the lot.Â
