Engage with guests about their day. Remember our purpose of treating every guest like they have a name and a story because they do!
Cleaning opportunities for DR Host 1:
Check the bathrooms to make sure they are clean and stocked
Check each stall for trash on the floor and that the toilets are clean. If they are not sweep/clean accordingly
Stock toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
Clean the handwashing counter and wipe up any water
Check trash cans and empty if they are more than halfway full. *Make sure to double bag the trash cans to prevent leakage*
Wipe tables, chairs, and booths
Sweep the floors
Gather and clean trays. Clean with the red wipes and allow them to dry before putting placemats on them
Clean the glass windows. Use the glass spray and coffee filters
Vacuum the floor mats
Wipe down the highchairs in the vestibule and lining them with placemats
Fix chairs so that they are neatly aligned with the table. This helps the dining room look presentable and welcoming
Ask for help if the dining room needs a lot of work! Remember you are part of the front of house team and can get a boost if you feel the dining room needs extra attention. Let the front of house leader know if you need help.
